Service
Today’s Mercedes-Benz vehicles receive Mercedes-Benz Synthetic Motor Oil Replacement* as part of their regularly scheduled Service A or Service B appointment**. If you’re wondering “How long does an oil change take?” you’ll first need to determine your vehicle’s age. While models made during MY-2008 or earlier will receive a simple and straightforward oil change, those made after this time will receive more comprehensive service. In either case, the actual time cost of oil service is usually around an hour, but the amount of time your vehicle spends at the dealership may vary. If you would like to get in and out quickly, take advantage of Express Service at Mercedes-Benz of Warwick.
Mercedes-Benz oil service may only take an hour to finish, but there are several caveats you should keep in mind. If it’s your first time performing the service, you’ll want to budget at least two hours. That’s assuming you have everything you’ll need–new oil, a new oil filter, a new oil filter gasket, a rubber mallet, correctly sized wrenches, a jack, and wheel blocks–on hand. What’s more, performing Mercedes-Benz oil service at home in Providence or East Greenwich may backfire–especially if you’re not also taking care of the other items on your Service A or Service B checklist. In the vast majority of cases, it’s quicker and easier to schedule service and let us handle everything at once.
